The Upper Notch is located in St. Mary's County, Maryland in an old family home that was also a general store complete with gas pumps. Though the gas pumps are long gone the original red painted, uneven floors remain. The red floor coupled with fresh paint create the perfect back drop for our wonderful antique furniture, beautiful glass, lovely tea ware and other old and new items on display.

Stop in and browse around, we have wonderful things for you to see. Enjoy the big band and oldies music. Fix a cup of tea or just relax for a few minutes away from the hustle of the day. Though a small shop we offer a great variety of items for your home, gift giving needs or to add to your collections.

Accepted forms of payment are Visa, Master Card, Discover & personal checks with proper identification. A 30 day lay-a-way is available for items over $50.00. The required down payment is 25% of the total cost including sales tax.
